VueJect is a syringe pump designed to deliver a suspension of the ultrasound contrast medium SonoVue in a continuous infusion and/or slow bolus. The pump rotates the syringe carefully to maintain the suspension. The user can determine the method of injection and the speed of infusion.
Special programming protects the contents of the syringe from high pressure that might ruin the suspension. The characteristics listed above can be achieved through the use of a special syringe with accompanying extension set. Infusion speed is programmable from 0.3 to 4.0 ml/min, with 0.1 ml/min intervals.
To make it easier to use, VueJect comes with a remote control to complement the control buttons on the pump.
